Jarrad Branthwaite has been a bit of a worry for Everton this season on the injury front, and he’s spoken out on his fitness ahead of the Manchester United clash.
Everton and injuries haven’t had the best of relationships this season as they seem to have constantly been plagued by them, and we’re only 12 games in.
Jarrad Branthwaite has been hampered by a number of injuries already, which has seen him only start three games all season.
Michael Ball slammed Sean Dyche for not starting him against Southampton, and he went and picked up an injury against West Ham in the next game.
Now, with Manchester United up next in the Premier League, Branthwaite has shared what his current fitness situation is like after coming through unscathed against Brentford.

Everton are yet to lose a game with Jarrad Branthwaite starting, having won one and drawn two so far.
Sunday’s clash will be the hardest test yet with the English defender in the side, as Manchester United head into their first Premier League game at Old Trafford with Ruben Amorim in charge.

Everton posted a TikTok interview with the defender, and he admitted that he’s still getting back up to full fitness but is feeling better.
“It was frustrating to not be out there with the team. I’m slowly getting back to the levels that I was at last season, but I think it will take some time when you’ve been out for so long to get the match fitness and things.
“So I’m still working on that everyday in training. When I get the chances in games, it’s about putting in the best performances I can out there. Progressing that week on week.”
Manchester United’s interest in Jarrad Branthwaite
This weekend’s clash will give Manchester United a closer look at Jarrad Branthwaite.
The Red Devils have already submitted an interest in signing Branthwaite, but it’s unlikely to take place in the January transfer window as a fee of at least £60m is wanted.
Everton cannot afford to lose him, though, as he’s been pivotal in the limited games he’s featured in this season and still has plenty of potential to unlock.
After all, with a new stadium round the corner and new ownership, there is plenty to look forward to at Everton.
A new deal could be in the offing for Branthwaite if he agrees, with Everton already plotting.
