Three Juventus Women players were involved with their respective national teams on Friday, 29 November, with Viola Calligaris and Alisha Lehmann's Switzerland and Lysianne Proulx's Canada all featuring in international friendly fixtures.
It was a tough day out for Switzerland, who lost 6-0 to Germany in their friendly match-up. Both Calligaris (who played the full 90 minutes) and Lehmann were on the pitch from the first minute, the latter being replaced at the start of the second half. The two Swiss players will again play in a friendly encounter on Tuesday, 3 December in England.
There was an international test for Proulx as well, as Canada lined up against Iceland in a friendly that finished 0-0. The Juventus number 44 came on at the start of the second period, playing the full second half. The next commitment for Proulx and her Canadian side is another friendly match-up, this time against South Korea.
Today, Saturday 30, November 2024, it is the turn of Peyraud-Magnin and Cascarino's France, who face Nigeria at home in a friendly encounter kicking off at at 21:00 CET.
