CHELSEA are not looking to sign a striker in January, ending their long-term interest in Victor Osimhen unless Christopher Nkunku is sold according to the latest reports in the media this weekend.
Osimhen was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the course of the summer window, as we were desperate to add a striker to their attack before the season started, many reports in the media suggested.
But despite all the rumours, despite all the speculation that he could be heading to the club – Osimhen never made that move to London as his asking price was far too high and in the end, he ended up making a loan move to Galatasaray.
According to reports, the only way they may dip into the market for a striker is if Christopher Nkunku is sold in the coming months, freeing up funds and space for a replacement.
Nkunku has been in brilliant form for the club this season, but is going getting game time in Europe and the cup competitions as Enzo Maresca prefers to play Nicolas Jackson in the Premier League on a weekly basis.

If the reports are true and the club have made the decision not to sign a striker in the January window, it makes alot of sense considering just how attacking quality the club have to choose from.
However – if he added that man who could score 30 goals a season to that attack, we could really challenge for that Premier League title right?
