Who will sign the Newcastle United star?
Footballer-turned-pundit Darren Bent has urged Arsenal to sign Newcastle United star Alexander Isak, who is also reportedly a target for Chelsea. He thinks the striker is the missing piece of the puzzle at the Emirates and can help them get to the next level.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Bent opined that Isak might look to move next summer if Newcastle United finish lower in the table while Arsenal make it to the UEFA Champions League. He urged the Gunners to take advantage of the situation and said (via TBRFootball):
"Yeah, I'd go with that. Isak, for me, is the one. And it might not, between the two clubs, it might not be the case because Newcastle, of course, ain't going to want to sell him. But it might come down to the player, because if Newcastle was to finish ninth or tenth this season, Arsenal in the Champions League again next year, he might have a decision to make because it's quite short careers. And yes, he's had a great time at Newcastle, but a player of his quality, international, should be playing in the Champions League every season. He's got the ability, he's got the quality."

Alexander Isak coy on future amid Arsenal interest
Alexander Isak recently addressed his future amid reports of interest from Arsenal. He said that he remains focused on Newcastle United and rumors do not affect him.
He told Fotbal Skanalen (via Daily Mail):
"Throughout my career, I have never talked about or really commented on the move rumours during the season. There have been many such years where it has been talked about. It doesn't affect me. I am commenting on my situation in Newcastle, and I have never had any problem there. I am fully focused on my task there and that we will have a fantastic season. There are still great opportunities for that. I have no thoughts about anything else."
Apart from Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are also said to be interested in Alexander Isak. Barcelona are also reportedly monitoring the striker as they look to sign a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
