Liverpool is likely to be without six players for Sunday's meeting with Manchester City after Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley both sustained problems during the closing stages of Wednesday's win against Real Madrid.
Konate damaged his knee in stoppage time after a collision involving teammate Virgil van Dijk and Madrid striker Endrick, and will reportedly be out of action for five to six weeks.
Bradley, meanwhile, was withdrawn due to an apparent hamstring strain, and although there have been no definitive updates on the Northern Irishman's state, clubs tend to manage hamstring problems very carefully and it would be a surprise to see him turn out against City this weekend.
The Reds are also set to remain without long-term absentees in Alisson, Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa. Alisson has not played since the beginning of October due to a hamstring problem, while Jota's last appearance came against Chelsea on October 20.
Chiesa has racked up fewer than 100 minutes of game time since joining Liverpool and Slot said earlier this week that he wasn't in full training as he continues to build his fitness up following his summer transfer from Juventus.
Kostas Tsimikas, meanwhile, is reported to have suffered an ankle injury in training that will rule him out for a few weeks.
If Alisson remains unavailable against City, Caoimhin Kelleher will continue between the sticks for the Reds, while Bradley and Konate are expected to be replaced in the line-up by Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez.
Alexander-Arnold has been contending with a hamstring injury of his own of late, missing England's games during the recent international break as well as Liverpool's win over Southampton last weekend.
The 26-year-old was back in the squad against Madrid but was an unused substitute as Gomez replaced the injured Bradley towards the end of the match.
Harvey Elliott is still waiting for his first minutes under Slot since August; the 21-year-old was an unused substitute against Southampton and Madrid after recovering from the foot injury he sustained during the September international break.
