The coaching staff at Barcelona have sprung a couple of surprises, by way of their personnel selection for the club’s meeting with Palmas.
Barcelona are of course primed to return to action in short order.
In search of a first league win in three, the Blaugrana have welcomed lowly Las Palmas to Catalunya’s capital.
Flick and co. have been forced to deal with a number of fitness problems in the buildup to the clash, with Lamine Yamal, Ferran Torres and Eric García still well enough only for a spot on the bench.
With Dani Olmo still working his way back towards full fitness, too, the door has therefore been opened for a couple of surprise inclusions in Barca’s XI on Saturday.
Gavi, for one, is in once more, for his 2nd start in the space of a week.
And the other headline change comes in the form of youngster Pablo Torre being rewarded for his patience with a return to starting duties.
