Andersen poised for spell on the sidelines

Injuries to Joachim Andersen and Jorge Cuenca mean that Marco Silva will only be able to call upon [two fit senior centre backs](https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2024/november/29/team-news-joa-set-for-spell-out/) when Fulham travel to Tottenham Hotspur for another London derby on Sunday afternoon.

Andersen is set for a significant spell on the sidelines after limping out of last weekend’s 4-1 defeat by Wolverhampton Wanderers after picking up a calf strain. Spanish defender Cuenca injured himself during training this week – and injury could deny Ryan Sessegnon a return to his former club this weekend as well.

Fulham head coach Marco Silva told his pre-match press conference this afternoon:

“Joachim is one of the players who is going to be out. Jorge Cuenca as well. Jorge got a knock during the week, and is going to be out of the game, too. Harrison Reed, as you know, as well. Ryan Sessegnon is still doubtful for the game. We have these four situations, these four players. Apart from that, all the others are going to be available.

Jorge I think is going to be \[back\] quicker than Joachim. Joachim is going to be out for some games. It’s difficult to sit here and be clear about the timeline, when he’s going to be ready, but it’s going to be the next few games.”
