The Bianconeri must cope without nine footballers for a Sunday Serie A match against Lecce.

Dusan Vlahovic hasn’t recovered from a muscle injury, while Nicolò Savona is the latest player to be forced out of action after sustaining a muscle issue against Aston Villa on Wednesday.

Motta said at a pre-match press conference on Saturday that he’d include five Academy players in the team travelling to Lecce: Alfonso Montero, Filippo Pagnucco, Augusto Owusu, Diego Pugno, and Christos Papadopoulos.

The nine unavailable players are Gleison Bremer, Nico Gonzalez, Arkariusz Milik, Douglas Luiz, Vasilije Adžić, Juan Cabal, Dusan Vlahovic, Nicolò Savona and Weston McKennie.

Motta is expected to confirm the same lineup he picked against Aston Villa earlier this week, except for Savona, who Brazilian defender Danilo will replace.

Juventus are still unbeaten in Serie A, but sit 6th, four points below table leaders Napoli.
