The Blues’ best work so far this season has come on the road in away days, so can they discover some form at Stamford Bridge?

Here is a look at the record of Enzo Maresca’s side in their league games at home this season:

Chelsea’s first task in November is a tricky match at home to Villa. The good news is that Pedro Neto and Malo Gusto should be available against Villa after missing the last coupe of games.

David Seaman predicts Chelsea vs Aston Villa

David Seaman has tipped Chelsea to pick up another three points this season when they host Villa this weekend.

When predicted Chelsea versus Villa on his YouTube Channel, Seaman said: “I’m going to go Chelsea. I’ll go 2-0 Chelsea. I think they’re going to have too much.”

Chris Sutton agrees Chelsea will beat Villa, and the teams go into the match in contrasting form.

Cole Palmer vs Morgan Rogers

There’s a lot of interesting matchups all over the pitch for Chelsea versus Villa, including the battle between Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers in the No.10 position.

Palmer, 22, is now into his second season as Chelsea’s talisman. The left-footed playmaker is excelling in a central position behind Nicolas Jackson, although he’s without a goal or assist in his last three appearances.

Meanwhile, Rogers has elevated his game to new heights this season as Villa’s star attacking midfielder. It’s even led to the 22-year-old making his senior England debut, too.
