Leicester City fans who made the trip down to Brentford on Saturday really didn’t enjoy themselves.
Optimism was no doubt high ahead of the game at the Gtech Community Stadium following the sacking of Steve Cooper.
Ruud van Nistelrooy watched on from the stands vs Brentford and will have been left bitterly disappointed by his team on the day.
Facundo Buonanotte fired Leicester City into the lead after 21 minutes on Saturday but it was all downhill from there.
Yoane Wissa put Brentford back on level terms just four minutes later before Kevin Schade scored a first-half brace to make it 3-1 before half-time.
The Bees secured the three points and killed off any hope of a comeback in the 59th minute.
Fans now face a long trip back to the Midlands but not before they let their feelings be heard inside the ground.

Leicester City fans at Brentford call for Jon Rudkin to leave
Barring Buonanotte and perhaps Jamie Vardy, the majority of Leicester players on the day were simply woeful.
MORE LEICESTER STORIES
Leicester fans hit out at James Justin during the game on social media after the right-back put on another dismal showing.
Elsewhere, his right-sided defensive partner Wout Faes was also awful and played unwanted roles in basically every Brentford goal on the day.
However, rather than targeting any of the club’s players, fans in attendance instead hit out at Director of Football Jon Rudkin and could be heard chanting “We want Rudkin out!”
Jon Rudkin failure costing Leicester City
Rudkin has received criticism from Leicester fans for missing out on a number of transfer targets over the years and the ire toward him is only growing.
A Patson Daka deal fell through late in the summer of 2023 and his signings over the last few years have not been great.
The aforementioned Faes arrived under Rudkin’s watch and, it is fair to say, he has been poor.
But with Leicester clearly needing fresh additions in January, fans will be desperate for the club chief to get his act together.
