Crystal Palace took on Newcastle at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon.
It was an incredibly frustrating afternoon for Crystal Palace once again failed to win a game in which the performance warranted a win.
A Marc Guehi own goal saw Newcastle take the lead after Daniel Munoz missed a sitter in the first half.
However, Munoz redeemed himself fully in stoppage time at the end of the game as he scored the goal which equalised the game and ultimately handed Palace a crucial point.
Besides the miss, Munoz was undoubtedly the Eagles’ best player and Oliver Glasner will be thanking him for the 1-1 draw.

Reacting to the miss on Sky Sports, pundit Kris Boyd said: “It was hard to do what Munoz did. You’re thinking just roll it in, I haven’t got a clue what he’s trying to do. An absolute sitter.”
Meanwhile, former England goalkeeper David Seaman reacted by saying on Premier League productions: “As for Daniel Munoz’s chance, I think I could have scored that!”
Despite the miss, Munoz never let his head drop and it paid off as he made it up to every fan in SE25 by scoring a 94th-minute winner, but his all-round performance was also top-tier.
Munoz in electric form for Crystal Palace
It says a lot about how good Munoz was that he went through his horrific miss, yet remained the best player on the pitch.
Playing the entire game, Munoz not only scored but also created one chance in the game while completing 79 per cent of his passes.
Munoz got 70 touches of the ball, while his defensive contribution was also significant for the Eagles.
5/9 tackles won
3 clearances
1 interception
14 defensive actions
6 recoveries
10 duels won
This performance was one that Munoz showed regularly last season, and now Glasner will be keen to see this more often going forward as he could be the difference maker.
