Surprised to see Ben Dawson changing a lot of players as well as formation, coming in a 5-4-1 formation, playing a three men central defence, but leaving the best defender at the club Jannik Vestergaard on the bench.
Starts to Jordan Ayew, Focunda Bounanotte, Luke Thomas and Conor Coady as again Bilal El Khannouss was placed on the bench. Ben Dawson made the cardinal error for an interim man, trying to be smart, as he later in the game would be punished for his wrong doings.
Brentford came out of the starting blocks like wild animals, putting pressure on Leicester from the start. The Bees could have scored early on, but a fantastic save from Mads Hermansen stopped the attempt.
Leicester defenders fought to keep Brentford on distance. A great reward for that when a counterattack in the 21st miute resultet in a goal! Brentford 0, Leicester City 1. Facundo Buonanotte (Leicester City) left footed shot from the centre of the box to the centre of the goal. Assisted by Jamie Vardy.
But instead of trying to pack the defence in full, Leicester opened up every pocket possible for Brentford to use as they scored two goals within 4 minutes. Yoane Wissa and Kevin Schade the goalscorers for Brentford. Brentford never looked back and instead of Leicester using their few chances, Brentford came in for a third, Kevin Schade scoring again in stoppage time.
Jannik Vestergaard replaced Caleb Okoli after 35 minutes as the latter was pulled of with an injury. Later in the game Ben Dawson also gave minutes to Patson Daka, Oliver Skipp, Bobby De Cordova-Reid and Stephy Mavididi.

Coming out second half we had no hope of anything, and to concede three goals in one half with five defenders in the line-up, shows what we were afraid of, Leicester being too deep and not able to play themselves out of problems.
Brentford showed everyone why they are difficult to defeat at home sailing towards their 6th win in 7 home games. The game plan of Ben Dawson was trashed and berried by Brentford manager Thomas Frank, as Kevin Schade scored his third in the 59th minute.
Ruud van Nistelrooy watched from the stands as this terrible tragedy over two half’s must seen as an awful error by a man that took everything Steve Cooper and before him Enzo Maresca had put to the table and tried out his own ideas, as we hopefully not will see this again, never again.
Leicester will have Ruud in the dugout on Tuesday vs. West Ham. Surely we need to start to build from the back with a totally different approach, but as we have questioned before, too many Leicester players do not have the ability to perform consistent in the top tier.
PositivesLuke Thomas had a good game on the left, showing he is worth a chance
Jamie Vardy doing a grand and fantastic job on the Leicester goal
Mads Hermansen doing a number of good saves
NegativesBen Dawson made cardinal errors changing both players and formation
Players looked totally lost at times not really understanding the system and tactics
The structure and belief looks totally lost
Wout Faes having problems to cope with Brentford strikers
Letting in 4 goals, far from the table and with no hope of points
Leaving out Bilal El Khannouss, he is the best player at the club
