Leicester City travelled to Brentford for a Premier League meeting on Saturday. Their first game since Ruud van Nistelrooy became manager.
Ahead of kick-off, Ruud van Nistelrooy was spotted with the Leicester owner as he prepared to watch on from the stands against the Bees.
Ben Dawson took charge of his one and only game as caretaker Leicester City manager on November 30th.
The coach made some big calls for his one game in the dugout, including deploying a back-five formation.
Conor Coady was given a rare start at centre-back while even more surprisingly, Luke Thomas started the game at left-wing-back.
Elsewhere, Facundo Buonnote came back into the team after missing the Chelsea defeat last week versus Chelsea.
The Argentine made up a front three that also included Jordan Ayew and Jamie Vardy.

When speaking live on Soccer Saturday, the 34-year-old was asked for her verdict on Van Nistelrooy becoming Leicester boss.
Sweetman-Kirk then expressed her excitement on behalf of Vardy due to what the ex-United centre-forward can teach him.
She said: “What I’m really excited about for Jamie Vardy is those little nuggets, those little titbits that he will get from Ruud.
“Because especially at the latter end of your career when it’s really changing really small things but those little things, those little bits of information because Ruud van Nistelrooy has done it is a striker at the highest level, I think that’s going to really help Jamie Vardy.”
Asked if Vardy could develop any new partnerships with Ruud at the helm, she added: “Yes, I would say so, I think Buonanotte is the one for me, I absolutely love him.
“He’s back in from suspension today and when those two play well, Leicester play well. I think going forward, Van Nistelrooy has to look at how they get the best out of Buonanotte.”

Ruud van Nistelrooy verdict on Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy
Vardy and his new manager have a lot of history, with the former breaking the Dutchman’s record for most goals scored in consecutive Premier League games back in 20215.
And after being announced as manager on Friday evening, Van Nistelrooy gave his verdict on Vardy.
He said: “The captain, Jamie Vardy, has the most experience and the character. He’s the face of the football club. As a former striker, I can’t wait to work together with him as well.”
Vardy is Leicester’s current joint-top scorer this season and Van Nistelrooy will be hoping to see his tally improve even more now he is in charge.
