Arsenal romped to a fine win over West Ham United to increase the pressure at the top of the table ahead of Liverpool v Man City tomorrow and Bukayo Saka got himself another accolade in the process.
Saka was key for Arsenal as he laid on the opening two goals before scoring Arsenal’s fifth from the penalty spot.
For Arsenal and Mikel Arteta, winning against the Hammers was key as they looked to ensure that Liverpool felt some sort of intensity at the summit.
Of course, with a player like Saka producing like he is this season, Arsenal are never going to be too far away.
And in getting two assists to his name at West Ham, Saka became the first in Europe to one key milestone this season.

Bukayo Saka out on his own in Europe’s top five leagues after West Ham display
Saka seems to be taking his game to another level this season and with his two assists and another goal v West Ham, he added to his reputation further.
Crucially for Saka, he now stands alone in terms of the top five leagues in Europe and has now become the only player in those leagues to register ten league assists this season.
Remarkably, Saka has already exceeded his assist tally from last season, where he managed just the nine in the league.
Is Bukayo Saka the best wide forward in the Premier League?
It’s a tough question to pose and get a straight answer but Saka is definitely in the conversation with some big players in the Premier League.
Of course, we look to Mohamed Salah in terms of the best wide forwards in the league but beyond that, Saka might be the very best.
Player Goals (24/25) Assists (24/25)
Mohamed Salah 10 6
Bukayo Saka 5 10
Bryan Mbuemo 8 1
Cole Palmer 7 5
Jorgen Strand Larsen 6 2
At this rate, then, Saka might well end up making a claim to the PFA player of the year, with the likes of Cole Palmer and Salah likely to be his main challengers.
