Real Madrid are set to welcome a key member of the club’s midfield ranks but into the fold for their upcoming showdown with Athletic Club.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Aurélien Tchouaméni as the player in question.
French international Tchouaméni has for his part been sidelined since early this month.
As much comes owing to an ankle injury suffered en route to Real Madrid’s Champions League defeat at the hands of AC Milan.
Real Madrid have since seen out a trio of fixtures sans the services of their engine room star, managing two wins and a defeat along the way.
With Eduardo Camavinga having been condemned to an incoming spell on the sidelines earlier this week, too, all of a Blancos persuasion will in turn no doubt be relieved to hear of Tchouaméni closing on his return to the pitch.
As per a report from **[Marca](https://www.marca.com/futbol/real-madrid/2024/11/30/tchouameni-listo-san-mames.html)**, whilst the 24-year-old will not play any part against Getafe tomorrow, the plan is for Tchouaméni to link back up with his teammates in group training on Monday.
From here, the former AS Monaco man will be included in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad to face Athletic Club on Wednesday night.
