Arsenal did their bit as they beat West Ham comfortably to put the pressure firmly back on Man City and Liverpool ahead of the big clash at Anfield.
Arsenal – led by Bukayo Saka – dominated the Hammers and scored five goals away from home yet again to underline their credentials as title challengers.
For the Gunners, it’s all about picking up wins and hoping that City and Liverpool falter. Naturally, a City win or a point apiece will be ideal from the big game between City and the Reds.
As we know, Liverpool are in fine form and go to a City side who have lost five in a row for the first time under Pep Guardiola.
And when asked about how that game will go, Arsenal star Bukayo Saka had little interest in getting into things too much.

Bukayo Saka speaks about Liverpool v Man City after Arsenal win 5-2 at West Ham
Speaking to the media following Arsenal’s 5-2 win at the Hammers, Saka was asked about the Liverpool clash and how he sees it going.
However, rather than get into predictions, Saka just insisted Arsenal can only worry about themselves.
“What will be, will be. We have to do our thing, they have to play and let’s just enjoy the game,” Saka said.
Arsenal need more of Saka’s mentality
Gary Neville called Saka ‘outstanding’ for his performance at West Ham and Arsenal need more of that to ensure they’re in the title picture.
But above the performance level, Arsenal need more of this mentality from their squad.
As Saka says here, there is little he or any other Arsenal player can do about the City v Liverpool game and ultimately, the result will take care of itself.
For Arsenal, it’s just about ticking over and ensuring Liverpool and City don’t get away. Over a long season, anything can happen and while ever they keep winning, their title chances are alive.
