Liverpool’s race in the Premier League this season has seen them created a gap between themselves and other clubs in the top four.
While several football fans and pundits are already predicting Liverpool to unseat Man City as the next EPL champions, Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has warned the Reds about their chances.
According to Arteta, Liverpool’s eight-point lead could disappear easily in the Premier League title race.
Recall that the Reds manager, Arne Slot, last week warned his side not to get “carried away” after they beat Southampton 3-2.
Arteta has now reminded the EPL toppers that being front runners for almost a whole season is no guarantee of success.
Recall that the North London club were top of the league for 248 days of the 2022/2023 season and still lost the title to Manchester City.
Arteta in his statement stressed that Arsenal have been there and to sustain it for 10 months is extremely difficult as everything has to go therep way.

“Just when you think you have it, plop! Everything collapses,” he said.
He stressed that the results could change through injuries, decisions and it can happen at any moment.
“You have to be ready for that but it’s something you can’t always control. All you can control is to do your very best,” Arteta added.
