'Frightening': Jamie Redknapp blown away by Arsenal man who is 'so intelligent'; makes big future prediction

Arsenal can be a joy to watch at times and in hammering West Ham, the Gunners showed they are not out of the title race just yet.

Mikel Arteta’s side stuck five past the hapless Hammers with the pressure now moving over to Liverpool and Man City ahead of their big game at Anfield.

For Arsenal, their resurgence in form has coincided with a number of key players hitting their stride.

Bukayo Saka scored and created a couple and in doing so, Saka put himself top of the assists chart in Europe’s top five leagues.

Meanwhile, Jamie Redknapp lauded Martin Odegaard for his impact since coming back from injury.

However, while Redknapp was indeed impressed with Odegaard, he also ensured he pointed out just how impressed he is by Saka as well.

Bukayo Saka told he can get even better after Arsenal beat West Ham

Speaking on Sky Sports about the performance of Saka and what he brings to the table for Arsenal, Redknapp admitted that Saka could go on to be even better.

“Saka is an incredible role model, so intelligent, knows the game inside out,” Redknapp said.

“The job he is doing, the improvements he is making and the level he can get to are frightening – because he can score goals, make goals and has great desire, he runs in behind and is so difficult to defend against.”

Saka gets in every team in Europe

It might be some statement to say that but right now, there are few better wide forwards in the world than Bukayo Saka.

He’s hit double digits for assists, has scored goals as well, and is a constant menace for Arsenal whenever they play.

In England, he walks into Man City, Liverpool and Man United’s teams, while Chelsea would play him as well. Over in Europe, Real Madrid may argue they’ve got enough, but Barcelona and Bayern Munich would have no trouble in accommodating Saka.

Right now, Saka is playing some of the best football of his career and as Redknapp says, he can actually reach another level.

Quite how good he gets, remains to be seen but Arsenal fans will hope it coincides with a raft of trophies for the club.
