Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has revealed he will be watching Liverpool's Premier League clash against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon. The north London club secured a significant 5-2 victory over West Ham in the late kick off on Saturday to move two points clear of City and within six of Liverpool ahead of the weekend's showpiece event at Anfield.
Gabriel, Trossard, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz were on the scoresheet for Arsenal as they made it three wins on the bounce. While Liverpool are currently the team in control of the title race, Sunday's clash represents a must-win game if they're to keep a healthy nine-point lead over Arsenal and extend the gap over City to 11 points.
Not least because Arteta has warned Arsenal are back in form and are showing no signs of slowing down.

“We’ve got some momentum," Arteta said after the win against West Ham. "I think we have some flow back, a real determination; winning consecutive matches against three opponents is great, and we’re going to enjoy tonight and watch a beautiful game of football tomorrow.
“We are in a great moment right now, but in football, be on your toes and prepare the best possible way for tomorrow. Because it is so competitive this league, the opposition that we’re playing every three days, that’s the only thing that you can do. We can analyse a lot of things to improve today, again tomorrow.”
The fixtures will then come thick and fast, with Liverpool back in Premier League action midweek away at Newcastle United. City face a difficult test at home to Nottingham Forest, while Arsenal host Ruben Amorim's Manchester United at the Emirates.
