Tony Cascarino has singled out the lack of creative ability as an Everton ahead of their Premier League clash against Manchester United on Sunday.
Sean Dyche’s men are set to face Ruben Amorim for his first league game at Old Trafford (1 December) and will be looking to improve their standing in the top flight.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (1 December, 08:29am), Cascarino shared his thoughts on the goal-scoring prowess of the Toffees this season.
“The fact is that you can say Everton are the lowest scorers in the Premier League, they’re not a team that takes it to you,” he said.

One of Everton’s main problems this season has been the lack of goals that their strikers have scored across the term.

The Whites have four senior strikers within their ranks and while two have been sidelined since the start of the campaign due to injury, it feels like Beto and Dominic Calvert-Lewin should have done far better in front of goal.
Everton are now the joint-lowest scorers in the top flight this season and are only two points adrift of the drop zone.

Questions have been asked about where the future of of Dyche lies once the Friedkin Group takes over the club and unless he can find a way to get his squad back to winning ways, it’s hard to see how he’ll still have a job by the end of the season.
Saturday’s game against Manchester United could be a turning point for the club so long as they can find a way to get the ball into the back of the net.
