According to a report by fichajes.net, Newcastle United and Serie A side Fiorentina are monitoring Chelsea star Mykhaylo Mudryk. The Ukrainian has failed to impress since his arrival at the club and could leave if interest in his services solidifies.
Mudryk joined the English side in January 2023 for a reported €70 million fee from Shakhtar Donetsk. He has played 3613 minutes across 73 games for the west Londoners, bagging 10 goals and nine assists.
The report suggests that Newcastle and Fiorentina are keen to offer the forward a new lease of life following his disappointing spell with the Blues. The Magpies see the 23-year-old as an important player who could bolster their squad and allow them to compete on various fronts.

Meanwhile, Fiorentina, who currently sit one point behind league Serie A-topping Napoli, see him as necessary to strengthen their team for the second half of the season.
Mudryk will likely not come cheap, with the forward contracted to Chelsea until the summer of 2031.
"He has to be fit, mentally and physically; he is going to help us a lot" - Chelsea boss discusses Jadon Sancho's importance
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca explained why Jadon Sancho has struggled for minutes at the club this season. The forward joined the Blues on a loan with an obligation to join permanently from Manchester United this summer.
Sancho has played only 403 minutes across seven games since he joined the west London club and has bagged five assists in those games. Speaking to the press, Maresca responded to questions about the Englishman's recent omission from the team, saying via FotMob:
"I said since we started, Jadon is very important to us, He is very important. He has to be fit, mentally and physically; he is going to help us a lot. Unfortunately, we did not use him in the last few games but he is showing now how important he is to us. Especially against the teams that defend in the low block, we need that quality in the last third. Sometimes he will shoot more but I think he is going to help us a lot."
Maresca concluded by pointing out that his team has a robust and rich squad, saying:
"We need all of them taking the chances when they get them, We have 24 or 25 players, good players who all deserve to play and are working fantastic. We are going to share minutes in the next games because we have so many games so it is the normal thing to do."
Chelsea face Aston Villa in the Premier League today (December 1) with an opportunity to go second in the league table. Sancho will hope he can feature for the team in the match today and help his team to another win.
