ARSENAL boss Mikel Arteta insists he and the club will discuss Thomas Partey’s future at the “right time” amid constant reports that the midfielder could leave the club at the end of the season.
The Ghana international’s Gunners career has been plagued by injuries and he has constantly spent the time sitting on the bench, but he has been a big part of that Gunners side this summer and has been very impressive for Mikel Arteta.
However – he is out of contract at the end of the season and there is a chance for clubs to make an offer in the January window, and agree to sign the midfielder in the January window, which has left many wondering why Partey has not been signed up to a new contract.
The 31-year-old was outstanding again in Tuesday’s 5-1 win over Sporting Lisbon and earned the praise of his manager who spoke to the media on Friday ahead of this weekend’s game against West Ham.
Arteta told reporters: “We will have the right time to discuss about the situation.
“He is showing consistency at the highest level, again because his availability and the way that he feels physically is allowing him to do that, and I am very pleased with that.”

It seems that Arteta wants Partey to be part of the clubs future, it seems that he would like him to stay, but at the end of the day, clubs can contact Partey in the January window and offer him a contract that he cannot refuse.
He may stay until the summer window, and maybe Mikel Arteta already has a player that could replace Partey, this is one that many of us are very interested to see how it plays out.
ARSENAL READY TO DO KIWIOR DEAL
Napoli have enquired about Jakub Kiwior’s potential availability and ARSENAL are open the idea of the defender leaving on loan in January, it has been claimed in the media this weekend.

However – in the end a move never happened and many believed that he would be given more of a chance to shine in that Arsenal squad this season, especially with all the games that the Gunners will probably have to play this season.
But he has not got the game time that he would have liked and there has been alot of speculation in the media that he could be a player that will leave when the January window opens up, and according to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli are the latest Serie A club to declare their interest in Kiwior, despite head coach Antonio Conte harbouring some lingering doubts given the player’s peripheral role at the Emirates.
‘Napoli have asked about Kiwior’s situation and now Arsenal are open to loaning him,’ Di Marzio told Polish outlet Goal.pl.
‘Conte is wondering if he is good enough to play for Napoli because he is not playing for Arsenal.
‘But Napoli will definitely ask and try to loan him. Now is the time for him to go back to Italy because he has to play.’

Kiwior wanted to leave ARSENAL in the summer window because he knew he would be sitting on the bench every week, so he should have left then.
But unless Arsenal sign an adequate replacement, he may have to stay until the summer as Mikel Arteta knows he needs some depth in that squad to challenge for all the biggest titles
ARSENAL GET OSIMHEN BOOST
Chelsea are not looking to sign a striker in January, ending their long-term interest in ARSENAL target Victor Osimhen unless Christopher Nkunku is sold according to the latest reports in the media this weekend.
Premier League bound? Premier League bound?
Osimhen was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge over the course of the summer window, as Chelsea were desperate to add a striker to their attack before the season started, many reports in the media suggested.
But despite all the rumours, despite all the speculation that he could be heading to Chelsea – Osimhen never made that move to London as his asking price was far too high and in the end, he ended up making a loan move to Galatasaray.
According to reports, the only way they may dip into the market for a striker is if Christopher Nkunku is sold in the coming months, freeing up funds and space for a replacement.
Nkunku has been in brilliant form for Chelsea this season, but is going getting game time in Europe and the cup competitions as Enzo Maresca prefers to play Nicolas Jackson in the Premier League on a weekly basis.

There is no doubt about it – Osimhen is one of the best strikers in Europe and a man that Chelsea fans wanted to see arrive – so many were shocked when that switch to Galatasaray happened.
Osimhen moved because he wanted game time and that is what he is getting – Napoli would probably have loved to keep the player – but at the end of the day – he just wanted minutes.
If the reports are true and Chelsea have made the decision not to sign a striker in the January window, then Arsenal will be boosted by the news.
It is no secret that ARSENAL are also interested in getting a deal done in January and one less club that will challenge means, the Gunners could get Osimhen for cheaper.
