Brentford became too much for Leicester. In defence for Ben Dawson, we do believe he could have put out any of the Leicester players in the current squad without getting anything at all, but hopefully Ruud van Nistelrooy will go by his gut feeling and build a set up that can manage to defend properly, and start to attract fans.

There is set a meeting today to assess the current situation and get some sort of momentum in place for West Ham at home on Tuesday. We certainly hope that a group of players with the correct mindset will be put in place by January.

The fact that every result went in Leicester’s favour yesterday and still one point above the relegation zone, having played two very difficult opponents in the last two fixtures, hopefully Ruud van Nistelrooy will get a perfect start to his manager job at Leicester.

We certainly hope that the future lays in a 4-3-3 grounding upset, looking a 4-2-3-1 in the set up when going into more details of formation. This is how Enzo Maresca and Steve Cooper played their Leicester teams as well as the set up more or less used by Ruud van Nistelrooy during his time at PSV Eindhoven and also how the set up looked when Man Utd defeated Leicester 3-0, with Ruud at the MU wheel.

"We have to put together a 90-minute performance" – Ben Dawson 🙏

The fact that Ben Dawson decided to change from a back four to a back three with Luke Thomas and James Justin were both trying to figure out how to play in those very difficult roles as wingbacks, possibly in this type of system the most crucial roles in the team. To do this for the first time in years, in front of a game away to Brentford, without any proper learning, was heavily surprising to see from a well educated and experienced football coach.

James Justin struggled heavily in a role he has now previous experience in playing, as we did see Luke Thomas doing a better job, not really giving away the space which became so suffering in around Justin who had a nightmare appearance and looked less orientated and out of his position, especially defensively.

Wout Faes and Caleb Okoli both had difficulties to adapt and with the Belgian going through a rough time both at international level and club level with some scary performances lately, we certainly hope that Ruud van Nistelrooy will establish a back four with a solid anchor in Jannik Vestergaard and not neglect his passing abilities and the fact that he can keep the ball and play into the midfield area with a better control than any other player at the club.

Conor Coady might be one to consider in a right back position, as what was established under Steve Cooper, moving to a three in the back when having the ball, could be something to continue with. This would suit either Victor Kristiansen, James Justin or Luke Thomas who all can operate in a left back position. Coady need game time fast to establish some sort of momentum in a role that we feel could suit him well and help Leicester in establishing a better defensive unit.

Wilfred Ndidi and Bouba Soumare should be given proper time to establish themselves in the midfield area as both are capable of doing these two jobs. Harry Winks and OIiver Skipp are of course two other alternatives to look at, but at the moment Winks is out and Skipp looks far from his best.

Bilal El Khannouss and Facundo Bounanotte could both be playing in the same line-up, one as the man behind the top forward, another either out left or right. Stephy Mavididi must also be given a good run of games, and hopefully Kasey McAteer will fill in when needed, he is also very skilfull.

The problem under Steve Cooper was all the tinkering, not really having a proper plan and playing strategy, with just changes done in player personel as well as pushing players around in different roles, still much better than what we experienced vs. Brentford.

We certainly have to look forward with a defensive model fast in place, and hopefully players that are trusted as first teamers must step up to be able to bring Leicester up and forward.

Jordan Ayew, Bobby De Cordova-Reid, Patson Daka will all have to fill out and hopefully bring the quality needed from the bench when called on.

This unit looks good enough to survive in Premier League, being set up in a proper 4-3-3, or if you like 4-2-3-1.

Bring it on Ruud, we are all behind you. We also belive Khun Top is well in place to guide the club in the best possible way as he turns Leicester fortunes around with clever and good controll.

Leicester fans need to get behind Ruud van Nistelrooy and start positive chants whatever results are, and not just go after people who are in around the club, as changes will be considered in due time, without rocking the boat too much and again bring the club into heavy difficulties.

We do believe that Leicester will be looking to bring in a top forward during the January window. Also to be considered is a left back solution, hopefully Ben Chilwell will be considering a return in January, but he is not just chased by Leicester. The quality of those players must be at a level that makes these signings a proper quality rise and benfitial for the team performance.
