Everton were pretty active during the summer transfer window.
Everton made seven new acquisitions to their squad and all have had varying degrees of success.
Iliman Ndiaye has really impressed Everton fans and has perhaps been the pick of the bunch whilst Orel Mangala is now really starting to come into his own.
Jake O’Brien was the most expensive signing but is yet to make a league start, with Sean Dyche insisting he has to get ahead of three other centre-backs in the pecking order.
Armando Broja is back from injury and will be hoping to force his way into the team over the next few weeks, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin bereft of confidence.
Jesper Lindstrom, who joined from Napoli on a season-long loan with an option to buy, is showing glimmers of his quality.
And, in a recent interview, Lindstrom has just revealed whether he’d like to stay at Goodison Park beyond this season.

In a recent interview, the Denmark international expressed his desire to stay at Everton beyond this season, admitting that he really enjoys his life on Merseyside.

“They have an option and I will do everything I can for them to buy me because I like it here,” Lindstrom told Click Liverpool.
“I like the training, I like the privacy, I like the life here, so hopefully they will buy me, but I have to show them that I’m good enough for them.
“It is a lot of money so I need to make some goals and I need to make some assists and this is what I’m fighting for.
“If at the end they don’t take the option then that is how it is, I will still have taken something out of it because I feel like I’m training hard and I’m learning a lot this year.”
Lindstrom gave an honest assessment of how he thinks he’s performing: “I have done okay. Of course, I want to score goals and make assists. That is what I need at the moment but I am fighting for my spot.
“I am running a lot – helping the team defensively and offensively and trying my best. I am training good and think I’m showing I can play from the start.”
Lindstrom reveals Everton were interested in signing him before Napoli
Lindstrom revealed that Everton were actually interested in signing him before he moved to Napoli for £25m in 2023.
“Everton were interested before I went to Napoli so always knew of the interest,” the 24-year-old said.
“My agent said ‘Do you want to do it now?’ and I wanted to do it. There is a reason why Everton were interested not only because I had a bad year at Napoli.
“They knew what I did before that. They knew what they got and I knew the Premier League. Hopefully I can kick-start my career after a tough year.
“They always had conversations with my agent, so I knew for a while actually, but the timing was just not there and when it was I took it immediately.”
