Man Utd face Arsenal in the Premier League in midweek and two players will need to be careful against Everton.

Manchester United have two players at the risk of suspension ahead of their trip to face Arsenal in the Premier League in midweek.

United are back in action when they face Everton at home on Sunday morning and will be looking for the perfect springboard ahead of their trip to the Emirates on Wednesday night.

Arsenal prepared for the match in style with an emphatic 5-2 victory over West Ham United on Saturday night and suffered no fresh setbacks of their own for the upcoming showdown.

It means all eyes are now on United, with Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo both at risk of missing the match if they are cautioned against Everton this weekend. The duo are both on four Premier League yellow cards for the season, knowing that a fifth would mean an automatic one-game suspension.

Martinez is expected to start for Ruben Amorim's side when they host Everton at Old Trafford, though academy graduate Mainoo is most likely to be named on the bench as he continues his rehabilitation from injury. Mainoo has been an unused substitute across both of Amorim's first two matchday squads and is most likely to be eased back into action.

In terms of early team news, Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans are both in contention to return against Everton though Leny Yoro and Victor Lindelof are both expected to miss out.
