An update has been provided on Leicester City defender Caleb Okoli after he was substituted in the first half of the Foxes’ defeat at Brentford.
Okoli started as part of a back three as Leicester were beaten 4-1 by Brentford but was forced off after colliding into Mads Hermansen for the hosts’ equaliser.
The Italian came off worse and was unable to get up, leaving the Foxes with no other decision other than to bring him off, subbing Jannik Vestergaard on in his place.
Things would ultimately get worse as Leicester conceded a further three goals without reply, leaving new Foxes boss Ruud van Nistelrooy with plenty to ponder ahead of his first game in charge on Tuesday night against West Ham United.

Caleb Okoli to be assessed ahead of Leicester City’s six-pointer against West Ham
Speaking to Radio Leicester after the game, caretaker boss Ben Dawson revealed that Okoli wanted to stay on the pitch despite his knock but couldn’t confirm if the 23-year-old would be available for the West Ham game on Tuesday.
He said: He wanted to try and carry on, but we’ll access him when we’re back in tomorrow.
“It’s his knee from the clash with Mads, but we need to get a clearer picture.”

It wasn’t the best audition in front of new manager Van Nistelrooy as Leicester conceded three goals with him on the pitch.
There have been calls to drop Wout Faes after his woeful performance against Brentford meaning that if he was to drop him and Conor Coady, who also started, there may be a change in midfield.
Wilfred Ndidi has slotted in at centre-back before and could be utilised, as well as Hamza Choudhury.
Youth prospect Harvey Godsmark-Ford could also be in contention, but that seems highly unlikely.
