Impressive Spaniard David Raya has opened up and spoken about his move to ARSENAL, revealing that the decision was an easy one to make as he already made up his mind about making the move to the Emirates even before the London giants made the move.
Despite the great season by Aaron Ramsdale, Arsenal made the the shock decision to bring David Raya to the club on-loan for the season before making up their minds to make his move to London a permanent one after impressing during his first season.
Raya has now fully established himself as one of the very best goalkeepers in the Premier League and a player that Mikel Arteta can really rely on over the course of the season, and he has now revealed that his decision to make the move to the Emirates was an easy decision to make.
Speaking about his decision, and As quoted by Mundo Deportivo, he said: “All the effort and work has been worth it. Every child dreams of playing for a team as big as Arsenal. When Arteta calls me, he tells me the project and explains how everything works.
‘I didn’t even have to think about it; I wanted to be there. Since I arrived in England, I always paid a lot of attention to Arsenal.”

Many doubted the decision from Arsenal to sign Raya when they had the impressive Ramsdale at the club, but that decision has turned out to be one of Mikel Arteta’s best transfer decisions.
Raya is quality and there is no doubt that his saves helps the Gunners collect those much needed points, he will be vital between now and the end of the season in determining if Arsenal can win some silverware.
He will only get better and as we said, has been one of the best transfer signings for ARSENAL
