PSG are keen on acquiring the services of Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku, and the French giants are ready to offer Randal Kolo Muani in a swap deal.
According to a report from Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Christopher Nkunku could soon part ways with Chelsea as PSG are plotting a raid on the Premier League outfit for his signature. They are looking to offer the services of Randal Kolo Muani in return.
The Blues forked out a massive £52 million to sign Nkunku from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2023. The Frenchman had a horror debut campaign as he missed a significant amount of games because of injury. While he is back fit and is firing on all cylinders, Nkunku is not one of the first options under Enzo Maresca.
The Italian manager has no shortage of attacking options, and Christopher Nkunku, despite his form, is not the preferred choice. The French international is their top scorer this season with 11 goals, but he has only started one league game for them. The lack of minutes is becoming a concern for the 27-year-old, and PSG have taken note of his situation.
PSG want to re-sign Nkunku
Christopher Nkunku came up the ranks at the French club before he made the move to RB Leipzig in 2019. While it did not work out for him at PSG back in the day, they are interested in bringing him back to the club.
With the winter transfer window around the corner, the Ligue 1 outfit are plotting a raid on Chelsea. They have already floated the idea of a swap deal via intermediaries as they look to sign the French international. The Blues are ready to negotiate the departure of quite a few of their players, and Nkunku is one of them.
PSG are ready to offer them an option to move on the former Leipzig star and bring in a striker in exchange. Randal Kolo Muani is not a part of Luis Enrique’s plans going ahead, and PSG are ready to offer him to the London club.
Chelsea want a quality number nine, and the 25-year-old could be a great option for them up top. But, it might not be that straightforward a deal. The Blues are ready to listen to offers for the 27-year-old, but they do not want to sell him in the winter. While they want a new forward, they are not looking to incorporate one until the summer.
