Ruben Amorim has confirmed his Man Utd line up for the Premier League fixture against Everton.

Ruben Amorim has made six changes to his Manchester United line up for their Premier League home match against Everton on Sunday afternoon.

Joshua Zirkzee, Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, Casemiro, Amad Diallo and Diogo Dalot all come into the starting line up, while Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho, Mason Mount, Manuel Ugarte, Antony and Tyrell Malacia drop out.

Amorim has stuck with the same back three who started against Bodo/Glimt in midweek, while Andre Onana also keeps his place in goal. United club captain Bruno Fernandes is the only offensive player to retain his starting role from the start against Ipswich.

Speaking ahead of the match, Amorim explained his line up and why he made six changes to face Everton. "We can't field the same team every time. We change the way we play, and everyone has to play and train. It's impossible to get all the players back after three days."

When quizzed on whether Zirkzee was starting due to his physicality against a robust defensive line, he added: "That's a bit like it. He's not the typical 9, so you have to use his characteristics to create danger and win the game."

United XI: Onana, Amad, Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot, Casemiro, Mainoo, Fernandes, Zirkzee, Rashford

Subs: Bayindir, Maguire, Malacia, Shaw, Mount, Ugarte, Antony, Garnacho; Hojlund.
