'I'm angry' - Raphinha makes concerning Barcelona admission after shock defeat

Barcelona winger Raphinha was left fuming by their shock2-1 defeat to Las Palmas on Saturday, insisting his side have been doing "many things wrong" in their recent poor run of form.

Goals from former Culer Sandro Ramirez and Wolves loanee Fabio Silva proved enough for the Canary Islands outfit to ruin Barca's 125th anniversary celebrations, allowing Atletico Madrid to cut their lead at the top of La Liga to just two points.

Real Madrid can also go within a point of Barca if they beat Getafe on Sunday and Raphinha couldn't contain his rage after their winless league run extended to three matches.

He told reporters: "We have to look at what we are doing wrong to try to win the game. I think we lowered the level of what we are doing and it is making it difficult for us during the games.

"We have to try to improve. We are doing many things wrong. I'm angry. We already have the next game on Tuesday and we have to turn it around.

"I don't care about my goal, I care about the victory."

Raphinha, who took the captain's armband again on Saturday, already has his best goalscoring figures in a single season for Barca, reaching 14 with his most recent strike. He has only been outscored in La Liga by teammate Robert Lewandowski, but his side's brittleness in defence will undoubtedly be of major concern to manager Hansi Flick.

There have been areas of improvement under the former Bayern Munich and Germany boss but one stat has shown they may not have advanced as much under new management as previously thought.
