Reason Tottenham vs Fulham clash is not on TV in the UK

Tottenham take on Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon. Spurs will be looking to build on their impressive win last time out when they beat reigning champions Manchester City 4-0 at the Etihad Stiadum.

For head coach Ange Postecoglou and the Tottenham supporters it will be a case of halting the win, lose, win, lose nature of results in the past month or so.

Spurs drew in midweek, conceding an injury-time goal at home to Roma in the Europa League to draw 2-2 having looked on course for three points. Now they're back in Premier League action, with Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expected to be packed out for the London derby with the Whites.

But if you've not been able to get a ticket to the clash you will not be able to see the action if you're in the UK. That's because the contest is not being shown on television.

And there's a good reason for that and it comes down to their Thursday night clash with the Italian giants.

Unfortunately for Spurs fans, the game was not chosen for live coverage in the UK when the initial broadcast selections were made. The reason being is because it was originally scheduled for Saturday before it was moved for a Sunday afternoon kick-off due to Spurs' Europa League commitments.

football.london will be in attendance in north London to provide all of the live updates and you can follow all of the action live here as well as post-match reaction and analysis from the clash.

From next season onwards a deal has been done whereby viewers can watch every match live on TV aside from those being played at 3pm on Saturday during the traditional blackout. That will mean all games moved for European matches will be available on television.
