Kylian Mbappe has perhaps been the biggest disappoint for Real Madrid, in what has been an equally difficult campaign.
Joining the club on a free transfer in the summer, Mbappe was expected to further spruce up the Madrid frontline, teaming up with the likes of Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo.
However, as we approach the halfway point of the campaign, Mbappe has been far from impressive. He has struggle to link up with teammates and provide the ‘X-factor’ Real Madrid were looking for.
Although the Frenchman has racked up nine goals so far this campaign, majority of these goals have come from penalties.
Real Madrid retain faith in Mbappe
Real Madrid, though, are not worried about Mbappe’s poor start to life at Santiago Bernabeu, reports Rodra P (h/t RM4 Arab).
It appears the club have complete faith in Mbappe’s potential and believe it is only a matter of time before the Frenchman reclaims his form.

Real Madrid’s idea is to put Mbappe in a position where he feels most comfortable and help him gradually regain his form.
The technical staff is also asking for patience, as far as Mbappe’s form is concerned. Although there are mixed feeling among the board, most maintain that the Frenchman is capable of bigger things.
The player, for his part, has remained calm. He continues to showcase his commitment and desire to perform well for Real Madrid.
Those who witness Mbappe perform in training point out his willingness to complete every session and do his best.
To that end, the upcoming La Liga contest against Getafe could be a big litmus test for Mbappe, as he looks to return to his groove after a poor display against Liverpool.
