Barcelona star Dani Olmo played no part in group training alongside the rest of the club’s squad, on Sunday morning.
That’s according to **[Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20241201/1002363225/dani-olmo-entrena-margen-grupo-dos-dias-mallorca-barca.html)**, who have provided an insight into the latest developments at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
Olmo, for his part, was of course a surprise absentee from Barcelona’s XI to face Las Palmas yesterday afternoon.
En route to a shock 2-1 defeat for Hansi Flick’s troops, in fact, the Spanish international did not see a single minute of playing time.
Speaking to the media post-match, boss Flick went on to reveal that as much came amid a fresh bout of ‘discomfort’ on Olmo’s part.
And the same concern, as alluded to above, has evidently not yet passed.
As per a report from **[Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20241201/1002363225/dani-olmo-entrena-margen-grupo-dos-dias-mallorca-barca.html)**:
‘Dani Olmo, who did not play in Saturday’s defeat against UD Las Palmas due to discomfort in his pubis, did not train this Sunday morning with his teammates who did a more intense session.’
Though hope remains that the summer arrival in Catalunya’s capital will be cleared in time to feature, Olmo’s status to face RCD Mallorca on Tuesday night therefore remains somewhat up in the air.
