Roy Keane believes Man City are well and truly in crisis territory ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with league leaders Liverpool.

City have failed to win any of their las six matches in all competitions, losing five of them.

And many expect that poor run of form to continue when they visit the rampant Reds, who have looked imperious at Anfield.

Speaking ahead of the game on Sky, Keane said: 'it's a huge day. If Liverpool can get a win today, what a marker that puts down for the rest of the league.

'Manchester City, it is a crisis now from the last few weeks. You keep saying they're going to get out of it, they're going to get that win, they're going to get back to their usual ways, but it doesn't look good.

'You see the way they collapsed against Spurs, in mid-week in Europe, even against Brighton late on. They've lost that intensity, particularly in defending.

'I actually thought this crisis would come for City a lot earlier, over the last year or two, so you have to give them credit for the standard. But they're in a difficult position. It's a big ask for City, particularly defensively, to come here and get a result.

Micah Richards thinks City haven't quite reached a crisis point but they could do on Sunday.

'They're not on the canvas. I think if they lose today, it would be a crisis. I think so many things are going wrong. The Man City now you're looking at, Haaland's getting chances but he's not taking them.

'There are no legs in midfield. Rodri is a massive miss. Defending from Man City, at centre back, it's almost like they don't know whether to push up. Even the experienced defenders are making basic mistakes. That's what I can't believe.

'Pep seems calm at times, but he just seems a little frustrated. If they were to lose today, I'd potentially say it's over. City have that thing of making you look stupid. I don't think they can go on that run. I don't see it right now.'
