That score meant the Portuguese boss became the first United manager ever to see his side two goals ahead at the break in their maiden Premier League game at Old Trafford.
It's an achievement none of his predecessors, such as Erik ten Hag, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Jose Mourinho, or Sir Alex Ferguson, managed.
Amorim had already made some history in the top-flight before this game too, matching a record last weekend.
He became only the second permanent Premier League manager ever to see his side score within two minutes of their first game.
So as he now celebrates the three points in front of the Man United support, he'll be delighted with his start to life in England.
And another person who will be delighted along with Amorim is Rashford, who scored two against Everton.

Rashford struck a double for the first time in the Premier League since February 2023, making it three goals in two games under his new boss.
With those two goals at Old Trafford, he also moved above a top-flight great in the goalscoring charts.
The forward, who has had a new lease of life since Amorim's arrival, has now scored more Premier League goals than Eden Hazard.
The Chelsea legend scored 85 goals in 245 appearances in the league.
Now, Rashford is on 87 in 286 total appearances.
Hazard still has more assists with 54 during his time at Chelsea while Rashford sits on 40.

However, with plenty of time left in the 27-year-old's career, he could well overtake the Belgian in that regard too.
It's been a rough few months for Rashford at Man United as he continued to struggle on the pitch.
But reaching a landmark and moving above Hazard with a great performance shows the levels he can play at.
Amorim made a point of trying to 'help' the former England international when he arrived and it seems like it's working already.
He said after a 1-1 draw with Ipswich, in which Rashford scored: "I will try to help him.
"We'll try to find the right solution for him, as for the other players.
Manchester United reporter Jamie Jackson names the three players who need to improve under Ruben Amorim or will have to be sold
"But he has to be Marcus, first of all, to try to return to that moment and then he will have all the help of the staff, the club and the fans because he's a Manchester United boy.
"But he has to be the first one to want it."
