Manchester United fans have criticized Diogo Dalot on X after witnessing his poor performance during their 4-0 win against Everton. The two sides locked horns at Old Trafford on Sunday, December 1.
Marcus Rashford's half-volley deflected off Jarrad Branthwaite to give the hosts the lead in the 34th minute. Joshua Zirkzee finished well seven minutes later to double their advantage. Manchester United made it 3-0 just seconds after the break via Rashford's goal before Zirkzee also completed his brace in the 64th minute with a simple finish past Jordan Pickford.
Dalot started at left wing-back under Ruben Amorim's system. However, he was unable to make an sort of impact going forward despite finding himself in some excellent open and attacking positions. The 25-year-old created zero chances, completed zero crosses from two attempts, and lost five duels.
