Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have set their sights on Chelsea's Christopher Nkunku, according to TBR Football. The Parisians are even willing to offer Randal Kolo Muani as part of a swap deal for the Blues forward.

Nkunku rose through the ranks at the Parc des Princes, but failed to establish himself as a first team regular at the club. He was eventually offloaded to RB Leipzig in 2019.

Nkunku came into his own at the Red Bull Arena, registering 70 goals and 56 assists from 172 games across competitions. His efforts convinced Chelsea to spend approximately £52m to secure his services in the summer of 2023.

Unfortunately for the 27-year-old, he suffered a knee injury in pre-season and missed much of the start of last season. He briefly returned to action for the Blues, before picking up a hamstring injury.

Nkunku returned to full fitness over the summer, but is not a first team regular under Enzo Maresca right now. The Frenchman is Chelsea's top scorer this season, with 11 goals from 19 games.

However, only nine of them have been starts, including just one in the Premier League. PSG are eyeing him with interest and are ready to offer him a chance to play regularly.

The Ligue 1 champions are even willing to offer Kolo Miami in exchange for Nkunku. The Blues want a new No. 9 but will only initiate a move to strengthen their attack at the end of this season. The London giants are also ready to cash in on Nkunku, but once again, they will only consider an offer next summer.

How have Chelsea performed under Enzo Maresca this season?

Chelsea have responded very well to Enzo Maresca's tactics so far. The Italian manager took charge at Stamford Bridge this summer following Mauricio Pochettino's departure.

Maresca has already taken his team to third place in the Premier League table after 13 games. However, they will slip back to fourth if Manchester City get the better of Liverpool on Sunday. The Blues have won seven games and lost just twice in the league this season.

The London giants have also won all of their four games in the UEFA Conference League this campaign. They are at the top of the European tournament table at the moment. On Sunday, Chelsea secured a 3-0 win over Aston Villa in the league, courtesy of goals from Nicolas Jackson, Enzo Fernandez, and Cole Palmer.
