Kostas Tsimikas is an injury doubt for Liverpool's games with Newcastle United and Everton next week after appearing at Anfield before Sunday's clash with Manchester City on crutches and wearing a protective boot.
The Greece international has been regularly rotated with Andy Robertson at left-back all season, making 11 appearances so far during Arne Slot's 20 games as head coach.
However, Tsimikas has missed the last matches with an ankle injury, sitting out the meetings with Southampton, Real Madrid in the Champions League and Sunday's welcoming of Pep Guardiola's side to Anfield.

Before the match, Tsimikas emerged out the tunnel on a set of crutches and a protective boot on his right foot. Top-level players routinely use such protective measures when suffering ankle problems but the setback could be serious enough to rule him out of another major week in the Premier League for the leaders.
The Reds travel to Newcastle on Wednesday night before the last-ever Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on Saturday lunchtime and Slot will preview the midweek game at St James' Park at the club's AXA Training Centre on Tuesday, where a more fulsome update is likely to be provided on the defender's situation.
Ibrahima Konate was also seen on crutches while wearing a knee brace. The Frenchman was injured at the end of Liverpool's win over Real Madrid on Wednesday.
Liverpool are without the pair alongside Diogo Jota, Federico Chiesa, Alisson Becker and Conor Bradley at present.
