Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim faces a daunting challenge as his side travels to the Emirates to take on Arsenal in a crucial Premier League clash on Wednesday. However, the task has been made harder with the absence of key players Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo, who are both suspended.
The duo picked up yellow cards during United’s 2-1 win over Everton, resulting in one-match bans. Mainoo was booked in the 49th minute for a foul on Dwight McNeil near the edge of the penalty area, while Martinez received a caution just two minutes later for pulling back striker Beto to halt a dangerous counterattack.

While their actions may have thwarted Everton’s scoring opportunities, their suspensions now leave Amorim with a significant selection headache.

The timing of the suspensions is even more troubling given the formidable form of their opponents. Arsenal have been firing on all cylinders, recording back-to-back victories with five goals in each match.
