Mo Salah hinted that Jamie Carragher may have an agenda against him following Sunday's huge 2-0 victory over Manchester City at Anfield.
The Reds reaffirmed their title credentials with a convincing win over the champions, Cody Gakpo meeting a brilliant ball from Salah to open the scoring before the Egyptian doubled the lead from the penalty spot.
Liverpool's big players stepped up on the day with captain Virgil van Dijk also shining at the back.
Ultimately Salah was named man of the match, as chosen by Carragher's fellow Sky pundit Gary Neville.
And Salah aimed a thinly veiled jab at former Liverpool skipper Carragher as Van Dijk handed him the award.
'So who picked him?' Van Dijk asked the the post-match interviewer after he revealed the news.

The reporter told the duo that it was Neville with Van Dijk then saying that he was surprised that Carragher didn't give it to Salah.
'I wouldn't be,' Salah replied. 'Never. He would never give it to me.'
Carragher was then asked about the comment by Dave Jones, who said: 'throwing down the gauntlet, Jamie?'
Carragher jokingly responded: 'I'll see him in the car park' before tweeting that he 'would’ve give it to VVD to be fair.'
