All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Arsenal as they prepare for a clash with Manchester United.

Arsenal continued their fine goalscoring form on Saturday, defeating West Ham 5-2 at the London Stadium to make it three wins on the bounce with no less than 13 goals scored. The Gunners have rediscovered their groove, which will be of tremendous relief to Mikel Arteta after that pre-international break wobble.

The Gunners must remain consistent from here, and they return to action as soon as Wednesday with a mid-week clash with Manchester United. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Emirates Stadium.

Kubo links

Arsenal are said to be interested in a deal to sign Real Sociedad winger Take Kubo. Kubo has been superb for La Real since arriving on a permanent deal from Real Madrid, and he is still only 23 years of age.

According to The Boot Room, Kubo is an option for Arsenal as they look to bolster their wide positions. The Japan international has a release clause of around £50million which could make him an affordable option for the Gunners. Though, it’s worth noting that any deal would likely be in the summer.

Arteta’s injury concern

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has dropped a concerning injury concern when discussing the changes he was forced into against West Ham. He said after the game: “Big credit to the boys you know. The team is flowing, the energy is there, a lot of quality, you have to play the game in different ways today, we’ve done it.

“We had to make changes and everybody comes in, we lost big players again yesterday, nobody is really affected. Jorginho comes in, he was outstanding I think, Jakub has to come in at half time, the same, Alex, very good. Now we’ve got some momentum, the energy is high, enjoy tonight, watch a beautiful game of football tomorrow, get ready to go again on Wednesday.”
