Barcelona are said to be monitoring Eintracht Frankfurt star Omar Marmoush as the club think about the future and how to replace aging striker Robert Lewandowski.
Erling Haaland, Viktor Gyokeres and Alexander Isak have all been mentioned as potential targets recently, and it now seems Marmoush can be added to that list.
Diario Sport are reporting that Marmoush has emerged as an option after starring with the Bundesliga side.
The striker has 13 goals in just 12 league appearances this season and has also reportedly attracted interest from Liverpool and Manchester United.
Barca are said to really like Marmoush’s versatility, goalscoring and set-piece ability. He’s also likely to be a lot cheaper than the likes of Haaland and Gyokeres.
Indeed the report claims Marmoush could be snapped up for around €45 million, although he’s likely to be in demand if he continues his current prolific form.
