Manchester United climbed to ninth in the Premier League table following a 4-0 win over Everton at Old Trafford.
Everton were the better side for the opening 30 minutes, but they failed to capitalise on possession with wayward passes in the final third.
United eventually capitalised on their shortcomings with two goals before the break.
Marcus Rashford scored the opener with a clever move improvised from the training ground. Prior to the interval, Joshua Zirkzee ended his 17-game goal drought for the Red Devils.
Rashford and Zirkzee replicated the feat in the second half. United did not start in the best fashion, but ended up with a convincing victory which should boost their confidence.
Both Rashford and Zirkzee were brilliant on the day alongside Amad Diallo. Diallo registered an assist for both players. He was also brilliant defensively with 12 ground and aerial duels won.
The Ivorian also completed 100 percent of his dribbles and 100 percent of his tackles. Shortly after the game, the Atalanta graduate thanked the fans through his Instagram account.
He posted: “We keep going. Thanks fans for the support.”
Kobbie Mainoo quickly replied to Amad’s post with a fire emoji while Zirkzee wrote ‘Che giocatore fra’ which translates to ‘What a player bro’ in English.

Diallo has had a fantastic start under manager Ruben Amorim. He registered an assist against Ipswich Town and fared much better versus Everton with two goal contributions.
The 22-year-old should have had a penalty towards the end. Regardless of this, it was an exceptional display and he is presently undroppable from the right wing-back role in our view.
United take on second-placed Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night. Diallo will have a different challenge on his hands, coming up against either Gabriel Martinelli or Leandro Trossard.
Riccardo Calafiori has linked up well with the duo on the left flank. Diallo lost the ball 11 times against the Toffees yesterday and he needs to be better with his positioning and awareness.
