Mikel Arteta has once again secured another win over Erling Haaland. The on-going dispute is taking place behind the scenes rather than between the two, who have had little to say to each other since the meeting between the two sides in September.
The two title rivals drew 2-2 at the Etihad Stadium in a match that Arsenal ended with ten men after Leandro Trossard was sent off and John Stones scored a 98th minute equaliser.
Tempers flared in the aftermath of that equaliser with Haaland having been seen throwing the ball at Gabriel Magalhaes' head as they turned away for the kick-off. And then there were players squaring up to one another at the final whistle.
Haaland was heard calling former City forward Gabriel Jesus a "clown" as they walked off the pitch, while also saying "who the (swear word) are you to Myles Lewis-Skelly as he tried to act peacemaker.
But it was what happened with Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta that made the most headlines, particularly now given Haaland's run of form. Haaland told Arteta to "stay humble" following the final whistle. But since then, his form in front of goal has dipped somewhat.
The City striker has scored just twice in eight Premier League outings since that match, while City have also endured a terrible run of form as a team. Defeat to Liverpool on Sunday was their fourth straight loss in the Premier League and their seventh game without a win in all competitions.
City sit 11 points adrift of league leaders Liverpool and well off the pace for the Premier League title. It is Arsenal who are now Liverpool's closest challengers at the top of the table and Arteta - while going through a bit of a blip himself as Gunners boss - is having the last laugh once more over the big Norwegian.
Perhaps it is Haaland who should have heeded his own words and "stayed humble".
