Nottingham Forest are going about their business just nicely in the Premier League and returned to winning ways on Saturday.
Chris Wood scored the only goal of the game as the Reds defeated Ipswich Town at the City Ground to climb up the Premier League table.
Wood equalled Bryan Roy’s number of Premier League goals and he now sits joint top of that chart with 24 goals.
There were a number of strong Forest performers with Ola Aina playing brilliantly well in his usual position at right-back.
Dion Dublin was impressed with two Forest stars and the fifth clean sheet of the campaign was a definite positive from the afternoon.

The captain was once again in the team and he played the full 90 minutes as the Reds saw out another win on home soil.
Yates is playing well at the moment and he’s proved himself as an integral Premier League player during the 2024/25 campaign.

After Saturday’s game, Yates took to Instagram to share a message that proved short and sweet after the narrow win against the Tractor Boys.
He posted: “Solid performance NFFC.”
Yates was the man tasked with occupying Sam Morsy during the game and it proved to be an intriguing battle.
The pair are very similar types of players and right now, it does feel like Yates is undroppable from the Forest team.
Morato reacts as Yates posts on Instagram
Forest defender Morato has a remarkable record at Forest in the sense that the Reds haven’t conceded a goal when he’s been on the pitch.
Saturday saw Nuno Espirito Santo once again call on his substitutes and Morato was summonsed to see the game out.
After the game, Morato reacted to Yates’ post by calling him a ‘monster’ and clearly, the captain is a respected member of the squad.
Morato will be pushing hard for a start in the team but with Nikola Milenkovic and Murillo both in fine form, he might have to remain patient.
As for Yates, he’s very much one of the first names on the team sheet at the moment and he will hope to continue impacting games as the season progresses.
