FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has devised a plan to immediately pull his team out of its crisis according to SPORT, which cited anonymous sources.
The Catalans were flying high at the end of October, with a 4-0 Bernabeu thrashing of bitter rival Real Madrid in El Clasico giving them a six-point lead at the top of the La Liga table.
November was a month to forget, however, with Barca losing twice to Real Sociedad and Las Palmas either side of a 2-2 draw with Celta Vigo where they were leading until the 84th minute yet succumbed to a pair of late goals from the hosts.
Those hiccups mean that the Blaugrana's advantage over Madrid is now just a single point. And providing Carlo Ancelotti's men can beat Valencia in a game in hand, they are set to take a two-point lead.
Following the 2-1 loss to Las Palmas, Flick admitted at his post-match press conference that his side "didn't do well", though it "tried until the end to get a good result".
"Today was not the day and we were not effective with the chances we generated in the second half," he added.
In soccer's relentless calendar, there isn't much time to reflect and Barca has to try and get back on the horse as soon as it can.
It travels to Mallorca on Tuesday, and can try and build a psychological and statistical lead over Madrid to four points again given that Los Blancos play around 26 hours later when travelling to one of the most difficult grounds in Spain for away visitor's in Athletic Club's San Mames.
According to SPORT, Flick has already pinpointed some of the things that can help Barca get out of its crisis.
Without much time to go over tactics, Barca will train lightly at the turn of the week as it did on Sunday, while Flick wants to stay close to his players.
He should take advantage of being able to pick Marc Casado - red-carded in Vigo - and Lamine Yamal, who got minutes against Las Palmas but should be fit enough to start after recovering from a muscle overload.
Flick demands 100% concentration from his players, and that they engage not just mentally but also physically.
Stopping the opposition from playing vertically is also key, and we'll see if Barca can put up an instant reaction in Son Moix or continue an unexpected slump.
