Jason Cundy has praised the relationship between Enzo Fernandez and Jadon Sancho during Chelsea’s win against Aston Villa.
The Blues turned in arguably their best performance of the season as they ran out 3-0 winners against Unai Emery’s men, making it three consecutive wins in all competitions since the international break.
Nicolas Jackson and Fernandez were both on the scoresheet for the second game running, whilst Cole Palmer got back amongst the goals with a brilliant finish.

The win saw the Blues also record a first clean sheet at Stamford Bridge since May as they moved level on points with Arsenal in second place.
Enzo Maresca named an unexpected line-up with Moises Caicedo, Romeo Laiva and Enzo Fernandez all starting for just the second time this season, although the Ecuadorian was deployed at right back.
The Blues played some brilliant football and made a good Villa side look distinctly average, as they recorded a first victory at Stamford Bridge against Emery’s side since 2021.

Fernandez has now scored in back to back Premier League games.
There was a lot to like about Chelsea’s performance with a number of players putting in brilliant performances, but Cundy was particularly impressed by the link-up play between Fernandez and Sancho.
“I love the relationship by the way that Enzo Fernandez and Jadon Sancho have created so far,” Cundy said on Chelsea’s official app
“The link-up play those two have had, more so than Cole Palmer and Pedro Neto on the right.”
Fernandez has found himself back in the side after being dropped for Lavia for the trip to Anfield in October, but he’s now started the last two games and has put in his two best performances of the season.
