Chelsea made it three wins in a row in all competitions after the international break in some style yesterday against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge.
Nicolas Jackson, Enzo Fernandez and Cole Palmer were on the scoresheet as Enzo Maresca’s side made it clear that they were not messing around this season.
A dominant victory saw a number of players impress greatly. Maresca said that Palmer and Joao Felix were the reason people love watching football after their performances.

The England international will no doubt have been keen to find the net after what for him was a significant run without a goal, after not finding the net for three games in a row.
His sensational strike put the cherry on a dominant victory against a side who are currently performing very well in the Champions League.
The result left the Blues in third in the table, ahead of Manchester City after their defeat against Liverpool.

“Nah, it’s too early man.”

Chelsea chiefs have been very impressed with their manager, after the pre-season campaign left a lot to be desired in terms of results.
The boss is getting the best out of a number of players who had been criticised over the last 12 months, and his tactical decisions seem to be paying off.
He started Moises Caicedo at right-back yesterday, and despite the fact that he had been one of the best midfielders this season he made the transition there absolutely seamlessly.
