Man Utd travel to face Arsenal in the Premier League in midweek and here is the early team news.

The Portuguese midfielder started for United in their 4-0 win over Everton at the weekend but was withdrawn from the action in the 66th minute of the match to be replaced by Manuel Ugarte.

Fernandes was treated by United medical staff after his withdrawal and was later spotted wearing an ice pack strapped around his left ankle as he watched the remainder of the match from the Old Trafford bench.

Ruben Amorim is likely to issue an update on Fernandes when he holds his pre-Arsenal press conference on Monday afternoon. The 30-year-old has featured in all but one of United's matches so far this season and has only ever missed one United match because of injury since he joined the club in January 2020.

Leny Yoro and Victor Lindelof both missed the win against Everton and are the only other senior injury issues impacting Amorim ahead of his fourth match in charge. Harry Maguire and Mainoo both returned from injury to feature in the victory on Sunday afternoon.
