Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah is reportedly in talks with Paris Saint-Germain over a move next summer. The 32-year-old has just over six months to run on his contract and can leave for free at the end of the season.

Salah has gone public about his future in recent weeks. In fact, after Liverpool's 3-2 win over Southampton last Sunday, the Egyptian admitted after the game that he is yet to receive an offer from the club for a new contract. Salah last signed a new three-year deal in June 2022, but there are concerns that he could leave Anfield.

And now, it has been reported by L'Equipe that Salah is in talks with PSG over agreeing to a deal to bring him to the Parc des Princes at the end of the season. The outlet also quotes a source that Salah and PSG have been in negotiations for some time, and the former Chelsea man has opened the door to a move to Paris.

It's understood that PSG are in the market for a new winger after failing to sign Napoli's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Manchester United's Jadon Sancho. The QSI-owned PSG would have no issue funding a deal for Salah after the departures of Kylian Mbappe, Sergio Ramos, Lionel Messi and Neymar in recent years.

PSG have previously tested the waters for Salah, and the report also claims that this is probably their last and best chance to land the in-form Liverpool winger. The fact PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Salah know each other quite well could play right into the hands of the Ligue 1 giants.

Despite the speculation off the pitch, Salah did his talking on the pitch with a Player of the Match performance for Liverpool against Manchester City on Sunday. He assisted the first goal for Cody Gakpo before scoring one himself, firing home a second half penalty to secure a 2-0 win for the Reds.

That was Salah's 12th Premier League goal of the season and he is now just one behind Erling Haaland in the race for the Golden Boot. Speaking after the game, Salah said: "Honestly it's in my head. Until now this is the last City game I will play for Liverpool so I was just going to enjoy it. The atmosphere was incredible so I will enjoy every second here. Hopefully, we just win the league and will see what will happen.”

Before he added: "It's very special. I don't take it for granted. I'm enjoying every minute here. It feels like home. It's always a special feeling always scoring at Anfield and winning games. The fans were behind us from the first minute. I'm glad we managed to win the game, we know that City are going to come [at us]."
